What are the things in life that you're truly passionate about?

People I'm involved with romantically, my friends, my chosen family and my family. I am very passionate about the people in my life.
I also tend to be passionate about my work, be it my day job or the consulting stuff I do.
I can be passionate about books, movies, music and food as well.
Windows, Mac, Linux - What's your preference and why?

For development work, Linux. For desktop, Windows. Now, the explanation... I haven't used Linux as a desktop in a long time and when I had, it was not an easy, smooth operation. Instead, I use Windows. It has a ton of applications that I use that make life easier and that makes me happy. But for coding, please give me an account on a Unix server somewhere and let me go.
My roommate has a pretty, new Mac laptop. And it's neat, but gods is it frustrating sometimes! Her first choice of OS would be Linux, but she needed something with voice recognition software and can not cope with Windows, so now she has a Mac. It's good that it's hers though. ;)
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? Why?

I would live exactly where I am now (maybe a different apartment, but definitely I am staying Boston-local).
Why:
1) I live near my niece.
2) I live nearer to my family (in NJ).
3) I live with the best roommate evah.
4) I live near my sweetheart.

How did you pick your Vox name? Does it mean something?

Do you remember your first flight? Where did you go? Why?

The first flight that I remember was a trip to Florida to visit my father's parents (I think I was probably younger than 6). I was excited and nervous, but apparently didn't act nervous. Until we got there and I threw up. Go me. ;) Once I got past that, I'm sure I had a good time.
How many computers do you have in your house?

What food or drink do you love when it's cold out? (Recipes and recommendations, please!)
Mulled cider. Hot chocolate with a shot of Kahlua (in the evening). Stews are really nice when it's cold (I'm hoping to get some from my brother when he makes his next big batch).
What are your plans for the weekend?
Dating! Dates on Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday night. :)
